We haven’t had items stored before, how
does it work?

We need to store some valuable furniture for a few months
and we are worried about where they will be stored.

We haven’t had items stored before, how does
it work?
We store all sizeable goods in purpose built wooden containers. If you
are also moving home the containers can be brought to your home on the day of
your move and the items can be packed and loaded, in your presence. A full inventory
is completed for each container for future reference by you and us. Once
we have your items at the warehouse the containers are stacked and not moved
again until you need them. Any furniture and or delicate items will be
stored and suitably wrapped on a pallet and placed in our purpose built racking.
For smaller items when you utilise our U-store they come to Glasswells.

Can you pack the items for storage for me?
Yes, we have a team of experience packers that will provide the best
packaging for your items and utilise the space in the container to
the full.

Do I need to deliver my items for storage or can you collect them
for me?
If you would like to deliver the items you can, however we can easily
collect them for you – this can include packing the items ready
for storage for you.

We need to store some valuable furniture for a few months and
we are worried about where they will be stored.
Our warehouse is purpose built to accommodate all kinds of items including
precious and fragile goods. Your furniture will be kept clean as
it will be wrapped in suitable materials and placed in our purpose built
racking. Equally, the warehouse is fully temperature controlled
so your furniture will be in a condensation and damp free environment. In
addition, our team of professionals handle every item with extreme care
and once your items are placed in storage, they remain in the same place
until you need them next. So, we can assure you that your furniture
will be in safe hands.

How much notice do I need to give you before I can
have my items back?
As you will have an inventory of your stored items that are in the containers,
you can give us a call and we will be able to get the container down
for you to access, or, deliver the entire contents of the container
back to you – just give us a couple of days notice if you can.
Equally, with our U-store, we can ensure your boxes are available for
you when you arrive.

Can I add to my storage items when necessary?
As long as you have room on the pallet or storage container, you can
add to this whenever there is a need. If you need further storage
space, we can also provide this for you.
