Glasswells sponsors U11's football team

Whitton Sports Centre Football Club Under 11's team are sporting bright and cheery new kit, thanks to sponsorship from Glasswells home furnishings store in Ipswich.

The team, which was established only at the start of the season, is regularly playing on Saturday mornings in the South Suffolk Youth League.

The 10 and 11 year olds make up two teams, and the sponsorship covers the 2008/9 and 2009/10 seasons.
They are shown in the picture with Andrea Johnston, general manager of Glasswells Ipswich store, which opened in December 2008 and with Peter Bailey, manager of Glasswells contract furnishing division in Bury St Edmunds.
