Furniture Repair Assistant– Full Time – Bury St. Edmunds
With at least two years’ experience in cabinet making, wood stripping and polishing, upholstery and general furniture repairs, applicants also require good social skills as some work will be carried out at customers’ homes as well as our workshop.  A flexible approach to working hours is important as this position may include some Saturday working.  A full driving license is also essential.

Required to lead, manage and motivate a small and effective reception team to provide outstanding service to customers both via the telephone and in person. A creative, yet sales focussed, person is required to work within our design centre as an interior designer.  Previous experience is essential where you will be expected to liaise with customers to help with their choices of furniture and soft furnishings, advising on everything from colours to materials.  Home visits will also be required to provide an entire design service, from initial sketches and mood boards to sourcing relevant furniture from the Glasswells range, ensuring customers design aspirations are met.
